P.S. Didn't want to give them one star but they making me do it
I had the worst delivery experience at this hospital on Sept. 1, 2015. The Doctor and nurse were arguing over who administered medication while I lay on the table in a very vulnerable position and in extreme amounts of pain from the delivery. I had third degree tearing from delivery and only received a local anesthetic that did not even completely numb the area. So after a traumatic and natural delivery (the natural part wasn't planned) I could feel myself being stitched. Then afterwards I was sent to a room where I laid shaking from the pain for several hours. The nurses were very unfriendly and my pain was unaddressed; I was treated as if I was a drug seeker instead of a mother who just went through a very traumatic and painful experience my entire stay. I still deal with disconfort to this day. I was so uncomfortable and angry with the hospital that I left after a day of giving birth. Unfortunately I had complications that sent me back for several more days after sometime at home. I was so exhausted from the entire experience that I never shared how horrified I am of this place. I would never give birth at this hospital again or come here for anything!!
They had me waiting forever in the ER lobby with a sickle cell crisis and then in the back and still had to wait forever to see the Dr. My nurse this time was very sweet and caring but Dr. Jones is a big joke I will not bring my dog to this hospital!! I know to go to the University in Jackson next time no matter how much pain I'm going through.
I had the best experience here. From the admissions clerks to nurses to Dr Keith. All were caring, concerned and attentive to my needs. They took excellent care of me. I somehow have a pic added to my review. Didn't mean to include it but can't figure out how to remove it. Lol. Sorry about that.
Michelle in the ER was absolutely amazing! Friendly fast and bubbly.
