This place sucks! The bathroom needed cleaned so bad. Look like it hasn't ever been cleaned. The morning staff was rather rude. One thing they don't post is that breakfast is NOT free. You get a ticket to eat and have to pay for kids. I was not expecting that. They didn't even say that when we checked in. They give you a beer ticket when you check in, we don't drink. I tried to swap the beer tickets for meal tickets and they would let us. The breakfast was HORRIBLE! The biscuits were rock hard and cold. The gravy was more like cold white water. The eggs gone when we got there, when they finally brought them out they were undercooked, the grits were to cold to melt the cheese and butter, the hashbrowns were raw. No refills in drinks either. Needless to say, we won't be going back again.
I will definitely stay here again when I'm in the area!
The first time I stayed here, it was a spur of the moment trip to visit family for Christmas. The second time I was here, it was for a funeral. Both visits, they were very accommodating. The front desk was extremely helpful. The first visit I tried the breakfast and it was cold by the time I got there, but in their defense, we got there later during their breaks hours. The second time, I didn't go to breakfast because I had food in my room since I'd ordered delivery the night I got there. The room was clean, and anytime I needed anything they were more than helpful.
They accept pets, which is definitely a plus, and was able to get ice and sodas from their vending area.
Rooms needed work. Bottom of toilet leaked, (and actually thru the wall to the carpeting next to bed was wet from it)shelf behind toilet holding towels about to fall off, paint (or coating) on bathroom walls bubbling and peeling, shower head fell off, i had to screw it back on, very hard to adjust water temperature. Was looking forward to the breakfast buffet, but scrambled eggs were runny, hash browns cold and very dry. The bacon was fried good. That at least gets 1 star for that. They did give 10% off when i told them all the problems with the room. Wont stay there again.
Nice quiet,clean. Problem no phone service on there phone and my daughter's. Free breakfast nice
Had a blast. Actually only a few of us there in the bar but we had the greatest time. Will go again. Laid back atmosphere.
