Horrible!!!!!!! This makes the second time I have paid very good money for poboys that were a joke. I got a dressed barbecue beef and it had very little meat and mostly hard gristle that I couldn't even chew. This place is a joke and I will never spend another dime there
Pretty decent. Food was okay, no one in our large party loved it. Kind of outdated, but it's not an awful place.
I love this place! You never have to wait long for your food, they have a great kids menu, and their prices are very reasonable. There is also a bar next door where you can have a drink or 2, a smoke, and shoot pool and order food from your table there. My favorite is the fish!
The food is great, but the last time I took my son here the table was dirty and the booth seat we were sitting on was just cheap and very old. Every time we even moved the thing rocked and moved, this made me very uncomfortable because there was a couple sitting directly behind us and I had to constantly tell my son not to move and I also had to keep very still and try not to make any sudden movements because I didn't want to make them uncomfortable either. Also our food including our appetizer took an hour and twenty minutes to get to us, I started feeling sick because I hadn't eaten all day (which I know wasn't their fault) so after 45 minutes of waiting I asked the waitress to see if the cook had any part of our meal ready so we could eat something and she came back and told me that there was only one person back there cooking and there were still two tables in front of us to be cooked, so we ate crackers that she bought out to us because they had no kind of bread or anything and yes, I asked if they did! By the time our food came we could only eat the appetizers so we asked to have our crab legs and boiled shrimp to go. They brought us our food in black plastic bags! There is absolutely no way those bags are food grade, and probably aren't even sanitary. Needless to say, the food I just paid $76.00 for out after we left and called in an order to tortilla soup and it was hot fresh and ready for us in 15 minutes. It was amazing as usual and a lot better priced than the expensive plastic bagged seafood that we waited for for way too long.
My boyfriend and I went into this restaurant on May 5, 2017 and and had the special. We also ordered a half a pound of boiled shrimp. He ate 2 at which time he said they tasted funny. I looked at it and noticed they were not cooked all the way through. We brought this to the waitress attention at that time. They cooked recooked the shrimp and which where done this time. However this did not prevent him from being really sick from consuming under cooked seafood. We have been faithful customers I have ordered there numerous times and never have had a problem. However, with how this has been handled we will not be returning and I will no longer refer any other customers in the future.
